This product is entirely hand forged and finished. Sometimes called a "meat fork" this product is ideal for holding a cut or roast while preparing to carve the slices; however, the fork will work equally well on large roasted vegetables. The fork is not cut like many contemporary forks but split in two ensuring the tines will never be bent or crooked in any form or fashion. The fork is forged from carbon steel and will rust if left exposed to the elements; however, all products that leave this shop are coated with a durable and natural finish. With normal use, the item will patina and darken over time which is a natural and beautiful process.
